FOR PARENTS & CAREGIVERS
A little guidance. More shared discovery.
You do not need to know every answer. Learnwild gives you a starting point for exploring, noticing and learning with your child.
Start small, and make it your own
1. Choose one activity
Read the instructions before you begin. Gather the materials listed in the pack, and choose a comfortable space to work.
2. Explore together
Invite your child to look, point, talk, move or make. Give them time to try before offering a suggestion.
3. Notice the progress
Talk about what your child tried or discovered. A useful conversation can matter as much as a finished page.
Help without taking over
Try a simple prompt such as “What do you notice?”, “How could we try that?” or “Tell me about your idea.” Listen before giving the answer.
Read instructions aloud when needed. You can demonstrate the first step, then let your child have a turn. Keep the activity a shared experience rather than a test.
Find a pace that works for your family
How much should we do?
Start with one activity and follow your child’s attention. There is no need to finish a whole pack in one sitting or complete a set number of pages each day.
If an activity feels difficult
Break it into a smaller step, try an everyday object as an example, or work through it together. Return to the activity another day if frustration grows.
If it feels too easy
Ask your child to explain their thinking, invent another example or connect the idea to something at home. Extra worksheets are not the only way to extend learning.
Learning can happen away from the page
Notice patterns on a walk, sort familiar objects, describe a picture or talk about a story. Use the pack as a starting point for everyday curiosity.
Pause when your child is tired or upset. End with something they enjoyed, and come back when you are both ready.

Tell us where you need a hand
Ask a question about a pack or share what would make the instructions clearer. Include the pack title and page number where relevant; there is no need to provide your child’s full name.
