Effective 22 September 2026.

What this policy covers

This policy covers current Learnwild digital PDF packs and, when offered for sale, physical books printed on demand for courier delivery within South Africa. Physical-book clauses apply only when you buy a printed product. We do not hold preprinted stock. Read this policy with our Terms and Conditions, Cancellation Policy and Delivery Policy. Your statutory rights remain protected.

Faulty incorrect or missing files

Contact us if you receive the wrong pack, the supplied file is corrupted or materially incomplete, the resource materially differs from its description, or your paid download cannot be accessed. We will investigate and help restore access or supply the correct working file. Where applicable law entitles you to choose a refund or another remedy, that choice remains yours; troubleshooting or replacement is not a condition that removes it. If we cannot supply the purchased resource, we will refund the affected payment.

Duplicate payments

If you are charged more than once for the same order, send the order reference and payment dates so we can verify and refund the duplicate charge. A bank authorisation or pending entry may not be a completed payment. Please check with us before trying to pay again.

Change of mind and cooling off

For digital files, we offer no additional discretionary change-of-mind refund after download. Applicable statutory cancellation rights remain unaffected; a download is not a blanket waiver. For an accidental undownloaded order, contact us promptly. ECTA section 42(2)(h) excludes sales of books from its section 44 cooling-off right; printed books therefore do not automatically carry that seven-day right. Other applicable cancellation and defect rights remain. Where section 44 does apply to an eligible purchase, cancellation is allowed within seven days of receiving goods or concluding a services agreement, with only direct return costs chargeable and a refund within 30 days. Print-on-demand alone does not make a product personalised.

Personalised physical products

If we later offer products made to your individual specifications or clearly personalised, a statutory cooling-off exclusion may apply. Any such feature and applicable restriction must be explained before purchase. We will not label every print-on-demand book as personalised. Defect, incorrect-supply and other mandatory remedies remain available.

Damaged defective or incorrect printed books

Contact us if a book arrives damaged, contains a manufacturing fault, has missing or incorrect pages, or is the wrong item. Where CPA sections 55 and 56 apply, qualifying faulty goods may be returned within six months of delivery at our risk and expense, and you may choose repair, replacement or refund. Tell us promptly about visible damage so we can investigate; this is not a shorter claim deadline. Ordinary wear or damage caused after delivery does not by itself show a manufacturing fault.

Returning a physical book

Contact us for the correct return address and collection instructions; do not send a parcel to an unconfirmed printer address. We handle faulty, damaged-on-arrival or incorrectly supplied items and the reasonable return cost. For an agreed discretionary return, we will explain any return costs before you proceed; statutory return-cost rules prevail where applicable. Pack the book securely. Original packaging and photographs help but are not absolute conditions for a statutory remedy. Please retain the book while we arrange collection or agree another resolution.

Printing and suitability

Read the product description and previews to check the learning stage, language, contents and PDF format. Contact us if these details are inaccurate or a supplied file causes a printing problem. A printer setting, low ink level, unavailable printer or a change in personal preference does not by itself establish a defect in the file. This does not affect a remedy you are entitled to under consumer law.

How to request help or a refund

Email info@learnwild.co.za or use https://www.learnwild.co.za/contact-us/ to request a refund or report a payment or download issue. Include the order number, purchase email, pack name and a brief description of the issue. An error screenshot can help, but please hide personal or payment information. Never send your full card number, PIN, password or one-time code. We will explain any additional information reasonably needed to verify the purchase.

How refunds are paid

When a refund is due, we will confirm the amount and return it through the original payment method where possible. If that method cannot receive a refund, we will agree a secure alternative with the purchaser. We do not require store credit in place of a refund that the law requires. We will process refunds within the applicable legal deadline and tell you when the refund has been submitted. Your payment provider may take additional time to display the credit; that does not extend our legal obligations.

After a full refund

For a fully refunded digital resource, download access and the licence end where lawful. Stop using and delete the PDF and your home-printed copies unless we agree otherwise or the law permits retention. For a refunded purchased physical book, follow the agreed return or disposal instructions; do not destroy it before we agree. You may keep transaction records. Unaffected items in a multi-item order remain subject to their existing terms.

Contact and version

If a refund does not arrive, contact us with the order reference so we can trace it. You may also use the complaint routes described in our Terms and Conditions. Effective date: 22 September 2026.
